“Trillions of dollars pass through thousands of disparate desktop applications every day, creating a significant market opportunity to unify the operating platform, improve deployment speed, and infuse greater efficiency and security,” Don Wilson, the chief executive officer at DRW Venture Capital said in a statement.

Bain and DRW are both participants in OpenFin’s Series B funding, which was announced on Thursday. The third round of financing was for $15 million, and other participants include J.P. Morgan and Bain Capital Ventures, among others.
